Description

The EVAL-1ED3012MC12I-SiC Evaluation Board is designed to be used by engineers to evaluate the1ED3012MC12I EiceDRIVER™ isolated gate driver ICs and discrete power switches from Infineon in a half-bridgeconfiguration. The evaluation board can be used to evaluate other pin-compatible ICs from the 1ED301xMC12Igate driver family by replacing the gate driver ICs on the board

Infineon IMZC120R012M2H CoolSiC™ 1200 V SiC Trench MOSFETs in TO247-4 (unassembled) in a half-bridgeconfiguration

  • PCB layout designed to ensure optimal switching performance of the half-bridge
  • Built-in configurable on-board isolated power supply for the gate driver output side, easily adjustable togenerate typical bipolar driving voltages
  • Built-in power supply for gate driver input side, easily configurable to generate 3.3 V or 5 V
  • Fast short circuit protection and feedback
  • UVLO for all the gate driver supply voltages
  • Interlocked PWM inputs for shoot-through protection
  • Test points for monitoring critical signals
