Our guidelines also include the Code of Conduct of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), which we expressly commit ourselves to comply with.
The RBA Code of Conduct sets standards to create working conditions in the electronics industry supply chain that ensure that the supply chain is secure, that workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that business is conducted in an environmentally and ethically responsible manner. We are committed to compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct, as well as the UN Convention Against Corruption, Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the ILO Code of Practice on Safety and Health.

It is equally important to us to provide our customers with a value chain that is free from dubious backgrounds. For example, the use of conflict minerals is not an option for us. Furthermore Würth Elektronik warrants providing any information about especially hazardous materials in accordance to EU-REACH regulations.

Since we are looking for open communication with our customers, suppliers and employees, the so-called Reporting Hotline SpeakUp exists within the Würth Group. Investigations show that often information from third parties leads to the clarification of white-collar crime.
Thus, the Reporting Hotline SpeakUp enables you to give the Compliance Department information on criminal activities or serious violations of laws, our Code of Compliance or other guidelines. If you notice a violation, you can report it, even anonymously, and in any case in absolute confidence.
