Description

The EVLSPIN32G0B1 is a 3-phase brushless motor driver board based on the STSPIN32G0B1.The power stage is composed by six STD140N6F7 60 V MOSFETs in STripFET F7 technology that can operate up to 45 V and deliver up to 15 Arms.The board provides a single-shunt sensing topology, suitable for both Field Oriente Control and 6-step algorithms, and a full set of protections: voltage monitoring, PCB temperature monitoring, overcurrent comparator, current limiter, and UVLO on gate driver supplies.A dedicated connector allows interfacing with both digital Hall-effect based position sensors and incremental encoders.The user can program and debug the STSPIN32G0B1’s embedded MCU firmware through the on-board STLINK V2-1 that also offers UART communication via virtual COM and direct binary download (mass storage peripheral).The board, in combination with the STM32 Motor Control SDK, is designed to support engineers to test, develop, and validate motor control designs for applications such as power tools, home appliances, fans, and pumps.
