Intelligence and control functionality come together in the ICCS CAN Gateways. They connect the CAN networks with different bit rates or protocols.

The smallest gateway module is packaged as a relay and provide connections for an analogue input, 2x CAN high speed and optionally a LIN bus interface. CAN messages of a network part can be received, filtered, edited and transferred to a connected subnetwork. Through the use of implementation and filtering rules, there is the option of a protocol adaptation between the subnetworks. The additional LIN bus connection (optional) enables data exchange between LIN and CAN networks.

Programming

ICCS SDK Plus

For programming of ICCS CAN controllers, we have developed the software tool ICCS SDK Plus. This consists of a visual programming module and the USB-to-CAN adapter from Peak.

The tool offers you:

Visual programming based on the Eagle software from Autodesk
To create programs also in C language
To transfer the programmed functions to the ICCS CAN controller via USB-to-CAN adapter from Peak
Bootloader and flasher function for software updates via CAN bus

For graphical programming, you will need the Eagle development environment. The latest version of Eagle can be obtained directly from Autodesk according to your requirements at https://www.autodesk.com/products/eagle/overview. Various licensing and subscription options are available.
Creating programs in the C programming language remains fully supported without restrictions.
