Description

The board is a testing platform for the SiC MOSFET based power module A2F20M65W3-FC. The module is a full bridge topology with embedded DC link capacitor and NTC thermistor for inside temperature measurement. The test platform provides a simple interface for easy evaluation and measurements on the module. Hence, it includes only the power stage, input and output blocking capacitors, space for gate drivers, and high current terminals for easy setup preparation. The drivers are in the form of submodules that are attached to the test platform and are oriented vertically to save space on the power stage. Input signals and supply voltage for drivers are connected using header pins directly on the driver modules. Using appropriate signals to control MOSFETs in the full bridge topology, this board allows testing of the switching performance of the module, for instance, using a double pulse test or performance evaluation under continuous operation conditions.
