Description
The DDB118R2 is a 120W 48V-12V, 10A Automotive System Demo Board showcasing the AP6AC05Q DC-DC buck controller, the AP74502Q reverse battery polarity, and overvoltage protection controller, as well as the use of an EMI input filter. The buck controller drives the DMTH8008LFGQ and DMTH8008SFGQ MOSFETs. It demonstrates a system-level solution with reverse voltage protection, overvoltage protection, EMI filtering that passes CISPR 25 Class 5 and DC-DC buck controller specifications.The input filter contains a ferrite bead, a common-mode choke in a Pi configuration connected in series with an LC low pass filter containing an inductor and a capacitor. This combination fullfils compliance with CISPR 25 Class 5.
