Description

The DRV8762-Q1 is an integrated smart gate driver for 48V automotive H-bridge brushed DC (BDC) applications. The device provides low-side current sense amplifiers to support resistor based low-side current sensing. The low offset of the amplifiers enables the system to obtain precise motor current measurements.The gate drivers support external N-channel high-side and low-side power MOSFETs and can drive up to 224mA source, and 448mA sink peak currents. A bootstrap capacitor generates the supply voltage of the high-side gate drive. The supply voltage of the low-side gate driver is supplied externally at a nominal 12V.The C2000™ launchpad (LAUNCHXL-F280049C) is required for this kit and controls the DRV8762-Q1 as well as monitor and report faults.
