The NCP81174 is a general−purpose up to four−phase synchronousbuck controller. It combines differential voltage sensing, differentialphase current sensing, and PWM VID interface to provide accurateregulated power for the computer or graphic controllers. It canreceive power saving command (PSI) from processors and operates insingle−phase diode emulation mode to obtain high efficiency in lightload. Dual−edge multiphase PWM modulation ensures a fast transientresponse with minimum possible capacitors.
