Beschreibung

This document describes the design example of a power supply using the STR6A161HVD intended for the isolatedflyback converter that supports universal inputs and a 12 V/1.0 A output. The STR6A161HVD is a current mode PWMcontrol IC with a built-in power MOSFET. In addition, the design example uses the SARS05 as a diode for the resistorcapacitor-diode (RCD) snubber, the SJPX-F2 as a fast recovery diode for the IC’s power supply, and the SJPE-T15 as aSchottky diode for the secondary rectifier.This document contains the following: the specifications of the design example, circuit diagrams, the bill of materials,the setting examples of component constants, a pattern layout example, and the evaluation results of the power supply characteristics.
