Description

This reference design provides a simple means through which to isolate I2C or SPI type communication lines. This is often required in Grid Infrastructure applications such as, protertion relays and circuit breakers, where high voltages are involved. This reference design provides the complete solution in which, both power isolation and signal isolation is handled

  • Designed to Operate with 24V Auxiliary DC input (typical in smart grid)
  • Optimized design for Multiple Isolated & Non-Isolated Supplies using single Converter
  • Device capable of providing signal isolation of 2500 Vrms for 1 minute per UL and 4242 Vpk per VDE
