Description

The PLC010935BP booster pack™ plug-in module is the orderable version of the TIDA-010935 reference design. This booster pack plug-in module pairs with the MSPM0G3507 LaunchPad™ development kit for 80-MHz Arm® Cortex®-M0+ MCU to enable powerline communication (PLC) using the UART to PLC THVD8000 and the THS6222 line driver. Explore the benefits of the THS6222 device distortion performance and output drive, the THVD8000 on/off keying modulation, and the Arm Cortex-M0+ MCU hardware and software capabilities to enable PLC for a range of applications.

Features

  • OOK modulation with four selectable modulating frequencies: 125kHz, 500kHz, 2MHz, 5MHz
  • Built-in current limit protection, and reverse polarity protection using TI eFuse
  • Space reduction trough the usage of the same communication line for both receiving and transmitting
  • BoosterPack plug-in module design compatible with multiple microcontroller famlies including Arm Cortex-M0+ MCU and C2000 real-time MCU
