Texas Instruments DAC82002 | Demoboard DAC82002EVM

DAC82002 evaluation module for dual-channel, 16-bit, low-glitch-noise, unbuffered-voltage-output DAC

Overview

TopologyDAC
Input voltage1.8-5.5 V

Description

The DAC82002 evaluation module (EVM) is an easy-to-use platform to evaluate the functionality and performance of the DAC82002, which is a 16-bit, high-accuracy, low-power, dual-channel digital-to-analog converter (DAC). DAC82002 uses a power-on-reset circuit to power up at either zero scale (0x0000) or midscale (0x8000), depending on the reset-select (RSTSEL) pin.

Features

  • Onboard digital controller for serial peripheral interface (SPI) communication
  • Configurable output buffer operational-amplifier circuits allow for plug-and-play configurability
  • Low-drift 2.5-V reference

Typical applications

  • Data acquisition (DAQ)
  • DC power supply, ac source, electronic load
  • Battery test
  • Oscilloscope (DSO), Semiconductor test
