Description
The BQ27Z746EVM-047 evaluation module (EVM) is a complete evaluation system for the BQ27Z746 battery manager. The EVM includes BQ27Z746 with integrated protection circuit module and a link to Windows® based PC software. The BQ27Z746 integrated circuit (IC) and all onboard components are provided to monitor critical cell parameters, predict cell capacity and state of health and protect the cells from overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit and over-current in 1-series cell Li-Ion or Li-polymer battery packs. The BQ27Z746EVM is able to read BQ27Z746 data registers, program BQ27Z746 for different pack configurations, log cycling data for further evaluation and evaluate the overall functionality of the solution under different charge and discharge conditions using I2C communication protocol, EV2400 and bqStudio software GUI.
