Onsemi NCP4352

Description

The NCP4352 is a secondary side SMPS controller designed for usein applications which require extremely low consumption. The deviceis capable of detecting “light load” conditions and entering the powersupply into low consumption “ECO mode”.

During ECO mode, the output voltage decreases to an adjustablelevel, allowing higher efficiency for light load condition whilekeeping lower but regulated voltage supply. Once more energy isrequired, the NCP4352 automatically switches back to the normalmode regulation of output voltage.

During normal power supply operation, the NCP4352 providesintegrated voltage and current feedback regulation, replacing the needfor a shunt regulator. Feedback control is provided through optocoupler to primary side SMPS controller.

The NCP4352 is available in TSOP−6 package.
