Description

This user manual describes the operation of the SSL5511DB1399 demo board featuringthe SSL LED driver SSL5511T in a 35 W isolated application for universal mains.The SSL5511DB1399 demo board is designed for 50 V at a 700 mA LED string load.The single layer PCB with dimensions 110 mm 50 mm  30 mm is intended for fixturesused in SSL applications.The SSL5511DB1399 demo board provides a simple and effective solution for a universalmains application. It includes a high Power Factor (PF), high efficiency, and a low TotalHarmonic Distortion (THD).The topology uses a single stage flyback converter without Power Factor Correction(PFC) pre-stage.
