Description

The EVM3683-20-MN-00B evaluation board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MPM3683-20, a fully integrated, step-down, DC/DC power module with 15A of continuous current.The MPM3683-20 features a configurable soft start time (tSS) with one capacitor. An open drain power good (PG) signal indicates whether the output voltage (VOUT) is within the nominal voltage range. Full protection features include short-circuit protection (SCP), over-current protection (OCP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP).It is recommended to read the MPM3683-20 datasheet prior to making any changes to the EVM3683-20-MN-00B.

  • Output Voltage (VOUT) Range: 0.6V to 5.5V
  • 15A Continuous Output Current (IOUT) with a 20A Peak (1)
  • Differential VOUT Remote Sense
  • Adaptive Constant-On-Time (COT) for UltraFast Transient Response
  • Selectable Pulse-Skip Mode (PSM) or Forced Continuous Conduction Mode (FCCM)
  • VOUT Tracking
  • PG Active-Clamped to Low Level during Power Failure
  • Configurable Soft-Start Time (tSS)
  • Pre-Biased Start-Up
  • Selectable Switching Frequency (fSW) from 600kHz, 800kHz, and 1000kHz
  • Non-Latch Over-Current Protection (OCP), Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), OverTemperature Protection (OTP), and OverVoltage Protection (OVP)
  • Available in an FCM LGA-29 (7mmx7mmx4.4mm) Package
