Description

The EV8865-Q-00A is used for demonstratingthe performance of MPS’s MP8865. MP8865 isa highly integrated and high frequencysynchronous step-down switcher with I2Ccontrol interface. It is optimized to support up to6A load current over an input supply range from4.5V to 21V with excellent load and lineregulation.Current-Mode operation provides fast transientresponse and eases loop stabilization. Theoutput voltage level can be controlled, on-the flythrough a 3.4Mbps I2C serial interface. Voltagerange can be adjusted from 0.6V to 1.87V in10mV steps. Voltage slew rate, switchingfrequency and power savings mode are alsoselectable through the I2C interface. Fullyprotection features includes over currentprotection, over voltage protection and overtemperature protection.MP8865 is available in QFN15 (3mmx3mm)package.
