Description

The MIC2133 is an enhanced adaptive on-time, synchronous 2 phase buck controller featuring a proprietary Host/User control architecture. This advanced control architecture will enable optimal current sharing of phases in host and user modes with the option of cascading several user devices in parallel to increase current capability of the entire solution. The MIC2133 operates over an input supply range from 4.5V to 100V and can be used to supply up to 50A of output current for applications ranging from cloud computing to industrial and automotive. The output voltage is adjustable down to 0.6V with a guaranteed accuracy of ±0.5%. The device operates with programmable switching frequency from 200 kHz to 800 kHz. The application case of requiring higher current level (30A-50A) is limited to 12V input backplanes only.
