Description

Demonstration circuit 1989B-C is a high efficiency, highdensity, µModule regulator with 4.5V to 17V input range.The output voltage is adjustable from 0.5V to 4V, and it cansupply 100A maximum load current. The demo board hasfour LTM®4676A µModule regulators. The LTM4676A is adual 13A or single 26A step-down regulator with PMBuspower system management. Please see LTM4676A datasheet for more detailed informationDC1989B-C powers up to default settings and producespower based on configuration resistors without the needfor any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluationof the DC/DC converter. To fully explore the extensivepower system management features of the part, downloadthe GUI software LTpowerPlay™ onto your PC and useLTC’s I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board. LTpowerPlay allows the user to reconfigure thepartonthe fly andstore the configurationinEEPROM, viewtelemetry of voltage, current, temperature and fault status
