Description
Demonstration circuit 2024A features the LTC®4282 highcurrent Hot Swap™ controller. The LTC4282 is well suitedto high power applications because the precise monitoringcapability and accurate current limiting reduces theextremes in which both loads and power supplies mustsafely operate. Non-volatile configuration allows for flexibilityin the autonomous generation of alerts and responseto faults. The LTC4282 provides a rich set of features tosupport Hot Swap applications including:nn 12-/16-Bit ADC Monitors Current, Voltage, Power andEnergynn Controls Two Sets of Parallel MOSFETs for High CurrentApplicationsnn I2C/SMBus InterfaceL, LT, LTC, LTM, Linear Technology and the Linear logo are registered trademarks and HotSwap is a trademark of Linear Technology Corporation.
