The XDPL8221 100 W reference design is a digitally configurable LED driver that has a universal input of 90 to 305 V AC or V DC wide output load range of 16 to 48 V DC and isolated dimming interface (with CDM10VD). Please refer to the next page for the main design features of this board based on the XDPL8221 and CDM10VD.The XDPL8221 is a digital, highly integrated, future-proof device. It combines a quasi-resonant PFC with a quasi-resonant flyback controller with primary side regulation. A serial communication interface supports direct communication with external MCU. The XDPL8221 is especially designed for advanced LED driver in smart lighting or IoT applications. The multi control feature constant voltage, constant current and limited power enables highly, versatile LED driver (e.g. window LED driver).The dual-stage topology ensures with the built-in algorithms flicker-free operation and dimming down to 1% of nominal current. The device enables excellent power quality over a load range from 30% to 100% of design power.
