Description
TIDA-00707 is a 1-kW, compact (100mmX80mm) power factor converter (PFC) designed for telecom, server, and industrial power supplies. This reference design is a continuous conduction mode boost converter, implemented using a UCD3138A Digital Power Supply controller with all protections built-in. Hardware is designed and tested to pass conducted emissions, surge, and EFT (as per EN55014) requirements

Wide Operating Input Range: 195-V to 270-VACDesigned to Drive Wide Range of Downstream DC/DC Converters and Inverter-Fed Motors up to 1 kWHigh Power Factor > 0.99 and < 5% THD From Medium-to-Full Load (50% to 100%); Meets Current THD Regulations as per IEC 61000-3-2High Efficiency of > 97% at Full Load Over Entire Operating Voltage RangePFC Converter designed with a simple, small PCB form factor (100 x 82mm)
