Description

The HVLED815PF device is a high voltageprimary switcher intended for operating directlyfrom the rectified mains with minimum externalparts and enabling high power factor (> 0.90) toprovide an efficient, compact and cost effectivesolution for LED driving. It combines a high performancelow voltage PWM controller chip andan 800 V, avalanche rugged Power MOSFET, inthe same package. There is no need for theopto coupler thanks to the patented primarysensing regulation (PSR) technique. The deviceassures protection against LED string fault (openor short).
