Description

SC81530Q is a USB Type-C and BC1.2 charging port controller that includes a synchronous step-down converter. It integrates a single USB current-limit switch and achieves 3A of output current across a wide input supply range, with excellent load and line regulation. SC81530Q integrates current-limited USB switch, which supports CDP mode for BC1.2, USB Type-C DFP mode and Type-A mode (CC1=100kΩ). SC81530Q also integrates high bandwidth analog switches for DP and DM pass-through. Fault condition protections include hiccup current limiting, output over-voltage protection (OVP), DP/DM/CC1/CC2 short-to-battery protection, and thermal shutdown. The SC81530Q is available in 22-pin 4mm x 4mm Wettable packages.
