The boost converter can drive up to 48 LED, 12LED per string, at 120mA. The LED sinks can beparalleled together to achieve even higher LEDcurrents, up to 480mA.The IS32BL3556 is available in a thermally enhancedeTSSOP-20 package. It is lead (Pb) free, with 100%matte tin lead frame plating.

Input voltage range is 4.75V to 40V for start/stop,cold crank and load dump requirements
- Excellent input voltage transient response
- Sync function to synchronize boost converterswitching frequency up to 2.3MHz, allowingoperation above the AM band
- Single resistor primary OVP minimizes VOUTleakage
- AEC-Q100 qualified (pending)
