Beschreibung

This reference design provides a cost-optimized solution for 10 to 100Mbps using the low-power Ethernet physical layer (PHY) DP83825 supporting 150m reach over CAT5e cable which is beyond the standard Ethernet distance limitation of 100 m (328 feet). Also, demonstrating power delivery over Ethernet cable along with data communication using IEEE802.3at Type-1 (13W) PoE-PD TPS23755 device with integrated primary side regulated Flyback DC/DC controller. This reference design is pre-compliance tested for radiated emissions, ESDs, and EFTs.

  • External isolation transformer with common-mode choke on PHY side for improved EMI and EMC performance
  • Programmable LED support for link and activity
