Teaser SMD Flexcon

The SMD FlexCon is a compact, pluggable monitoring and diagnostic solution compatible with an ATO fuse socket. This allows quick and easy integration into our central electrical units and REDline Power Boxes. SMD FlexCon can be flexibly equipped with various components such as diodes, LEDs, or resistors. In addition, different pad sizes and layout configurations are possible.

To ensure correct insertion and prevent accidental polarity reversal, the SMD FlexCon can be used in combination with a polarized ATO socket. This special socket prevents incorrect connections and increases reliability in the application.

Typical applications for SMD FlexCon:

  • CAN line termination: With integrated 120 Ω resistors for reliable signal transmission.
  • Protection and support of electrical components: Equipped with diodes for safeguarding and functional support of relays, voltage regulators, or switches – individually adapted to the respective electrical properties (e.g., current load).
  • Temperature monitoring: Integration of sensors to monitor PDUs or central electrical units to prevent overheating.
  • LED fuse check: Quick and easy detection of fuse failures through integrated LED indication.
