WE-LT Conductive Shielding Gasket
WE-LT Conductive Shielding Gasket
A lightweight with excellent shielding properties and surface conductivity due to the nickel-copper-polyester fabric. The foam core is fire retardant and for easy assembly the gasket comes with a self-adhesive film.
The WE-LT series was developed to solve diverse EMI/RFI situations and to meet shielding requirements.
Cost-effective and time-saving
Save costs and time with one of our various profiles ex stock. Special lengths, die-cut patterns as well as other materials (e.g. aluminum) and conductive tape are available on request.
Suitability of the material matching
The material pairing of certain materials starts a galvanic process that leads to the corrosion of the surfaces and reduces the conductivity. Especially in environments where increased corrosion is to be expected, the shielding material should be selected to match the housing material.
Compression
A steady compression of 30 % is recommended to keep the transitional resistance low and stable over a long time and to balance tolerances. The compression force depends on the profile of the gasket.
