Simple but efficient

The WE-PDA is an automotive high performance inductor known for its reliability and consistency under various operating conditions. The manufacturing process is automated for the all the sizes.

Four carefully selected components make sure that the power inductor meets the requirements to deliver high performance.The plastic base is different for each size and connects the component to the PCB to achieve mechanical stability. The windings are made of copper with very low RDC and RAC to ensure consistency and efficiency. The WE-PDA has a welding-controlled process, which is ideal for process stability.The core is the heart of the WE-PDA and is made of NiZn for a high dielectric strength and also available with MnZn material, enabling the inductor to provide high saturation currents and low core losses while an advanced shielding technology with an outside air gap not only reduces unwanted noise and electromagnetic interference but also avoids eddy current losses in the windings.

All the components and materials work together to ensure resistance against thermal aging for high reliability and long term usability.
