Increasing frequencies for modern telecommunications such as 5G place new demands on EMI shielding materials. For this purpose,„Analysis of EMI shielding effectiveness for plastic fiber composites in the 5G sub-6 GHz band“ describes different material compositions based on optical fiber in combination with conductive materials. This paper was first published at the 2021 IEEE International Joint EMC/SI/PI and EMC Europe conference.
