This presentation was part of our virtual conference (26-29 Apr): WE meet @ Digital Days 2021 Our future mobility will be flexible, independent, digital, connected but always cordless. Wireless power transfer and charging becomes more and more visible in public through electrical toothbrush and charging of smartphones and tablets. What are the technologies behind? What applications use it today? What are the limits and concerns? What will be the future? Which standards drive the technology? What are the opportunities and challenges ? What will change in user behavior and light electrical vehicles when the technologies will be established more broadly? Will a vision of a cordless world have a chance to become reality ? The presentation will try to give facts, answers and opinions to those questions. It will paint a vision of a cordless world of short distance traffic as a paradigm shift and discuss that vision with the audience.
