This presentation was part of our virtual conference (26-29 Apr): WE meet @ Digital Days 2021 A new view on cable ferrite sleeves and their noise suppression capabilities is presented. A theoretical approach is compared with measurements on a general transmission line setup. The investigations mainly focus on the frequency range above 1GHz.
