In the presentation, we aim to provide an overview of PoE PD/PSE design options and alternatives from different IC houses and module manufacturers. This includes integrated as well as discrete options. A study of two practical power circuit Flyback converter designs (PD and PSE) will be conducted. This will involve transformer design and selection, layout and tracking issues as well as EMC challenges.
