When it becomes necessary to transfer high current to the PCB, press-fit technology can be an interesting option. It combines low contact resistance with high mechanical stability and offers various mounting options. In this seminar we will have a closer look on the electrical and mechanical performance, but we will also show how to use the technology properly to understand the press-fit process in order to achieve beneficial results.

For those who are questioning if they can apply press-fit technology into their process or have other demand that do not allow to use this technology, we will introduce alternative high current components in SMT and THR technology in order to find the best solution for every application.
