Würth Elektronik regularly publishes technical articles, white papers, and studies in which we transparently present the results of our research and development work. Our publications provide insight into current projects, methods, and technologies that drive innovation in electronics manufacturing. They are aimed at developers, scientists, and industry partners who are interested in practical research and technical excellence.
With these technical articles, we create a transparent knowledge base – both for our customers and for the scientific community. After all, insights from research flow directly into new products, optimized processes, and sustainable technologies at our company.
Our technical paper "Mathematical Model of the Temperature Rise of a Wireless Power Transfer Coil in DC Operation" presents a mathematical model for calculating the temperature rise of wireless coils as a function of DC current.
This paper was first published at the PCIM Europe 2022 conference (www.pcim-europe.com) in 2022. The authors are Daniel Gückelhorn, Christian Merz and Cem Som.
