At Würth Elektronik we have employees from many countries, cultures, and backgrounds; yet we all ended up working for the same company, working towards the same goal. Numbers two and three on the list above are the reason we started hosting and attending events. What started as attending a few events per year has grown into participating in 100s per year whether it be as a guest or as a host. Check out our events here. Events are great, but we wanted to share our expertise with the people that had a burning curiosity, or wanted to stay up to date with new products and trends. So we decided that we were going to start our very own webinar and podcast! We are also actively giving back to the planet by making our processes and products more environmentally sustainable. We are always looking new areas we can improve. In fact, this year we implemented the 1 tree planted campaign. For every sample ordered, we plant 1 tree. In 2022 alone, we planted 5,075 trees. We have also introduced a new outer packaging for our design kits that is made from grass, you heard that right, grass. The packaging is also 100% recyclable. These are just a few of the things in the works, and we can't wait to continue on the path to sustainability. Helping the planet helps the people that call this planet home. It all boils down to "It's about people".

I couldn't have summarized it better myself. In fact, most of our best ideas come from our employees. In 2022, one of our employees had the idea of sponsoring a robotic team that competes in BattleBots on Discovery. We pride ourselves in sponsoring and supporting local programs, teams, and events in our field. We chose Uairrior specifically for a multitude of reasons. They are from Brazil and are an up-and-coming team in the United States. They aren't well known, yet, but have a proven track record of success. They are a university created and run team, and at Würth Elektronik know that the success of our future lies in the hands of those still in school. WE love supporting the learning and growth of our future!

Helping people, learning from people, and surrounding our day to do activities around the people is what makes our company and our company culture so strong. We pride ourselves on it, and can't wait to see where we will be in the coming years.
