Challenges and advantages of high-bandwidth uncompressed video connectivity for medical diagnostic equipment

Technological innovation in hospitals is undoubtedly improving medical procedures. With the advent of medical visualisation systems, high quality uncompressed video images are transmitted over long distances without latency. This paper presents a high-bandwidth uncompressed video connectivity for medical diagnostic equipment based on the Valens’ chipset VS3000 HDBaseT reference design, developed in collaboration with Würth Elektronik.
