Apprenticeship has begun for 19 trainees and students at the electronics components manufacturer

Würth Elektronik welcomes new apprentices

Twelve young men and seven young women have started their apprenticeship at Würth Elektronik in Waldenburg. Before starting in the various departments of the manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components, the trainees and their instructors had the opportunity for "team building" during a week of getting to know each other.

Würth Elektronik was once again able to motivate young people to take part in 15 different training and study programs this year. In addition to apprentice-ships such as industrial business management, warehouse and IT specialist, the dual courses of study also have an important role to play. Six male and two female students on DHBW courses such as industrial engineering with innova-tion and product management, electrical engineering or online media take ad-vantage of the opportunity to combine practical and theoretical training. Not only, this option makes Würth Elektronik one of the most popular apprentice-ship companies in the region.

"For the second time, we had to organize our introductory days under Corona conditions, but our newcomers coped well with this somewhat awkward start and we got to know each other. Now they are getting to know their colleagues and their tasks, and I wish all of them a good start to their careers," says Maria Böcker, head of training at Würth Elektronik eiSos.
