This presentation was part of our virtual conference (26-29 Apr): WE meet @ Digital Days 2021 MEMS and semiconductor-based sensors are present on most of the electronic applications we can think of, ranging from IoT applications to smart phones. These sensor technologies provide high reliability, accuracy, precision and very low power consumption, all highly miniaturized in a few mm² size. These sensors can be sensitive to the PCB design, location on the PCB and mounting process. In order to take the best advantage of this technology in the target application, there are hardware guidelines like PCB layout rules, soldering and mechanical constraints that should be met.
