Why does the capacity of MLCCs change? Aging

Applications depend on certain or fixed capacity values to achieve the desired performance. However, ambient temperature, structural changes or component tolerances play an important role. The required performance in the application can only be guaranteed if all phenomena that may occur are correctly taken into account. This document provides an overview of the most important factors, how these can be reduced by using a different material or external influences.
