Christian Merz, born in 1986, studied electrical engineering at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and graduated with a Master of Science degree in 2013. After graduating, he worked as a research assistant at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology on the topic of energy harvesting. Since October 2018, he has been working as a Product Manager in the field of Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) at Würth Elektronik. Until now, he has published in total 20 publications on the topics of energy harvesting, nonlinear circuit analysis, high Q impedance matching and WPT/NFC.
