Würth Elektronik ICS Certified According to IATF 16949

All norms have been successfully implemented and quality and environmental management is effective: This is confirmed by the recent audit of the corresponding systems of Würth Elektronik ICS by TÜV Süd Management Service GmbH. The Niedernhall-Waldzimmern (Germany) and Furdenheim (France) sites have thus been successfully certified according to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015, while Niedernhall-Waldzimmern once again according to ISO 14001:2015.

“After our technology and production center has already been certified according to ISO/TS 16949 in 2017, we are pleased to announce the auditing according to IATF 16949 ", says Dr. Klaus Wittig, Managing Director of Würth Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG. The organization thus corresponds to the new IATF 16949, which has replaced the ISO/ TS 16949 and extended it by additional requirements. “We are therefore well equipped to continue to meet the high quality requirements of our customers in the commercial vehicle and mobile machinery sectors," says Wittig.
