„Overall, the educational level of Würth Elektronik ICS GmbH & Co. KG is above average. “ (Moritz Scherzer, Dualis Project Manager)
On 28 June 2016, Würth Elektronik ICS has successfully passed the Dualis audit by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Heilbronn and has been awarded with the Dualis certificate. The audit was done by an employee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as three education experts of external companies.
The objective of the certification is to review and to improve the operational training quality.
The audit includes three steps. Based on a catalog of criteria as a checklist, the company estimates the own training quality in a first step. As part of a educationally oriented business consultancy, the company gets then specific tips and suggestions by a consultant of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the last step the certification takes place by an external audit committee.
The company is assessed on a multilevel scale, based on 64 individual criteria of the Vocational Training Act and additional Dualis guidelines. At the end, the Audit committee decides whether the company meets the certification requirements or not.
Advantages of Dualis certification are among other things increasing the attractiveness as a training company and improving the own training quality by identifying potential improvements.
Trainees as well as training managers in each department of Würth Elektronik ICS were interviewed about various training processes during the audit.
Especially attention was given to a good, personal communication on both sides, but also the learning objectives, tasks and the knowledge, that has to be transferred, have been evaluated.
Würth Elektronik ICS has mastered the Dualis test with success and now receives the Dualis certificate for three years. After a successful re-certification the certificate will be extended by another five years.
On 28 July 2016 the document was handed over to Würth Elektronik by Mr. Niedziella, a member of the management from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Heilbronn-Franken.
