At Würth Elektronik, giving back to the environment is important to us. We continue to take steps to improve our sustainability and invest in projects with a positive environmental impact. Last year WE launched our One Sample Order = One Tree Planted campaign. It is just as simple as it sounds, for every sample ordered & shipped out through our US warehouse, we planted on tree in partnership with One Tree Planted. We decided to continue this campaign through 2023. You can read more about the program and our goals here. 

With that we wanted to update you on the impact made last year.

We planted 5,075 trees!

For every one tree planted, 22lbs (10kg) of carbon dioxide is absorbed per year. That means with our 5,075 trees, 111,650 lbs (50,750 kg) of carbon dioxide will be absorbed every year!  For more facts like these, be sure to look around the One Tree Planted website.

This was made possible by our customers ordering samples. Do you need any samples? Now is the time to order them with your sales team, and get one tree planted for every sample ordered!

We wanted to give our customers, partners, and employees a chance to support this great cause as well, so we’ve created a fundraising page where additional donations to One Tree Planted can be made.
