Description

The XRP7724/7725EVB-DEMO-2 board is acomplete four channel power system. It isconfigured to provide 3.3V, 2.5V 1.5V and 1Vat a maximum of 3A, 3A, 5A and 10A loadsrespectively. The 1.5V and 1V supplies can beadjusted in 2.5mV increments, the 2.5Vsupply in 5mV increments, and the 3.3Vsupply is adjustable in 10mV increments. Theorder and ramp rates for each supply can beprogrammed to accommodate any sequencingrequirement. All power supply operations canbe controlled over an I2C interface. Faults,output voltages and currents can also bemonitored. Two GPIO and three PSIO signalsare available and can be programmed toprovide a variety of functions. UnusedGPIO/PSIO pins can be programmed as I/Oexpansion for a microcontroller. The board issupported by PowerArchitectTM 5.1 or later andplugs directly onto the interposer board actingas an interface to an Arduino controller orExar’s XCM.
