The XRP614 2 is a synchronous step downswitchingcontrollerforover15 A mpspoint-ofloadsconvertersandoptimized to generateand support DDR I, II and III memoryvoltagesrequirements.Optimized to operate from standard 3 .3 V and5V rails, the XRP614 2 supportsconversionsdownto0.5V from aninputvoltage aslow as1V and canreachefficienciesofupto 9 6% .B ased ona constanton-time controlschemeand operating at a constant switchingfrequencyoverthe whole inputvoltage range,itprovidesexcellentload transientresponsewhile requiring no external compensationcomponents. Three selectable on-time optionsallow forfurtherswitchingfrequency,solutionfootprintand efficiencyoptimization.Dedicated support for DDR I, II and IImemories is also provided. The XRP614 2easily generates VDDQ (VDD) or VT T voltageswhile anonboard bufferprovidesthe bufferedVT T reference voltage.Under-voltage Lock out, short-circuit andover-currentand over-temperature protectioninsure safe operations under abnormaloperatingconditions.The XRP614 2 isavailable ina compactRoHScompliant .green./halogen free 16-pin Q FNpackage.
