High school students

We attach the highest importance to TRAINING at Würth Elektronik. Many key positions in our company are filled by people who were trained right here in our company. We have a broad-based program to support and develop our new generation of employees: currently, 113 trainees at Würth Elektronik are preparing for their professional careers. There are 27 training professions and courses of study to get them equipped for the wide variety of job opportunities they will have later on.

We work very closely and personally with our career newcomers. That's one of the reasons why the new talent at Würth Elektronik demonstrates such outstanding performance on all levels. Almost every third trainee completes his or her training with distinction. This also applies for students at Baden Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) with its combined program of academic studies and work experience, which has established a partnership with Würth Elektronik for interns.

So it is no surprise that these positive mutual experiences show results: about 90 percent of these new professionals remain faithful to our company after they have successfully completed their final examinations.

Würth Elektronik is a partner of DHBW

Würth Elektronik has been a partner of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) for many years. In cooperation with this cooperative university, Würth Elektronik offers degree courses in technology and business administration at various locations.

This integrated degree program is becoming increasingly popular because students can work while they study and thus remain financially independent. It is an intense course of study that is also attractive for the variety it offers, with practical and theoretical components that alternate every 3 months.
