SKEDD – the new way to connect

Various technologies exist to create the joint between the PCB and the component or connector. The most established of these on the market are soldering and press-fit technology. In both of these systems, a socket base must first be pressed or soldered permanently onto the board. Then the connector or components can be inserted into this base in the next process step.

The SKEDD technology, however, offers a simple and reliable alternative for connecting connectors and components to the PCB. With this system the connector or components can be connected directly to the PCB, reversibly and by hand, without the need for a socket base.

SKEDD technology offers impressive benefits. ‘Leave much behind and gain more as a result’ - that is our motto. The immense possibilities for savings and the elimination of potential sources of faults, combined with quality optimization, are ground-breaking. More information.
