Potentiometric displacement and angle sensors, as well as rotary potentiometers 

The analog man-machine interface is particularly challenged in sound studio technology.
A large number of individual potentiometers is required for this application.
In its FLATcomp system solutions, Würth Elektronik prints the potentiometer tracks directly on the circuit board and additionally integrates the package and slider contact directly into the circuit board. 

The integration of the 18 mm potentiometer with 6 mm D shaft into the circuit boards takes place in direct cooperation with the customer and can achieve both in new developments: quality improvement and cost reduction compared with existing systems. 

The package size is compatible with most existing applications. The resistance, angle of rotation and indexing of the D shaft are all customizable. 

The conductive polymer film with a low coefficient of friction reduces the “scratching noise” of the slider to a minimum. The same applies for displacement sensors and sliders.
